What to Do Instead of Doom Scrolling | Digital Decluttering Activity
What if I told you that a little digital decluttering could be fun?
A recent client delightedly told me, "THIS is what I'm gonna do instead of doom scrolling."
The activity? Pulling the JOYFUL, aspirational activities out of her screenshots and onto paper for her future self.
Personally, I love to screenshot recipes to try, upcoming events in KC, or books to read. But we want to bring these activities into our real lives, not just languishing in our screenshots/photo roll.
You could even make yourself a bingo card with these things to try. My client had saved sewing patterns to look into. Compiling these things can be such a fun way to revisit what you've saved.
And if you want to get digitally decluttered in good company, join me at Magpie Creative Reuse on August 20th at 6pm. We'll wade into your desktop, downloads folder, apps, screenshots, email and photos (and more!). Through digital decluttering, we'll make more space for your creativity to flourish, and lighten your environmental footprint. Register here for $45.
